Ideally we want people to have as much freedom on our website as possible without concerns of abuse. It is those concerns about abuse which require us to be cautious in how we award permissions.

Both the Verified Member and Pastor User Groups have additional permissions associated with them. The minimuim prerequisite for any user group with advanced permissions is that we know the TRUE IDENTITY of the individual and have verified contact information on file, for accountability purposes. For Pastors, we also need to verify which organization they represent. All of this can be done very simply through the User Control Panel.

• First complete the registration process: establish a user name and verify your email address.
• Once your registration is complete, log into our site and click on your User Name.
• Navigate to User Actions > General Settings > Edit Profile.
• Scroll down to the "Additional Information" section and fill in the following information:
  • BOTH: Enter a working number into one of the three PRIVATE phone fields (which we can verify).
  • BOTH: In the "Note to Website Leadership" please provide your REAL first and last names. Though not required, IF you also have a Facebook account or other web account which can help us establish your identity, please provide it in this area. (This information will be kept confidential.)
  • Pastors: Please fill in the "Home Church".
  • Pastors: In the "Note to Website Leadership" please provide the phone number to the church you are employed with, as well as the name of someone else on staff who can verify your relationship.
  • Once all that is done and saved, use the Contact Us link to notify the Admin of your desire to change user groups, as well as which user group (Verified Member or Pastor) you are wanting to join.
• You're done! Verification should take place within 24 hours!
• It's really just that easy! We simply need to know who you are and that we can trust you!

Probably the best category for such articles and discussions is in Forums > Stages of Life > Career Corner.

Once you are there, click on "Post New Thread" to submit an article or start a discussion.

We do ask that no advertisements be posted in any of the Articles, Forums, or Media sections.

If it is your desire to change user groups, please use the "Contact Us" link to let me know. Prior to providing anyone with elevated permission levels, we must ensure that we KNOW who they are and can TRUST what they write. We would be happy to have you get involved in this capacity if that is your intent.

Another thought:

If your desire is to promote your seminar, you can include a plug for it as well as links to your myspace page, in your SIGNATURE (accessible through the UserCP).

Then as you write articles (or anything else for that matter) you will also be promoting whatever your Godly passion is.
