Starting On Friday, at 6pm, through Sunday, Journey Pointe Church in Murfreesboro will host the Simply Free Conference, a celebration of healing and hope. This is a monthly citywide gathering where people from every background and denomination come together for a night of worship and creative expression!</li>

Classes will be held every Tuesday night, from September 7th through October 26th, at 7pm. Training will be led by James W. Goll, Chris DuPre, and Bob Perry. There is no registration fee but a love offering will be accepted to help cover expenses.</li>

At 7pm, The Foundry will host Open Mic Night, formerly known as Songwriter’s Night, for those wanting to share their talent and support others in creative expression. At 7pm, Russ Taff will host Praise the Lord at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville. Unity of Believers is organizing a group to attend this TBN event, if you are attending on their behalf, be sure to arrive on time and tell the usher that you are with their group.</li>

On Tuesday, August 17th, at 6pm, Mt. Zion Baptist Church is offering an Entrepreneurial Workshop in Whites Creek. At 6:30pm, Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover is starting a series of classes every Tuesday night, at Cumberland Church in Franklin. At 7pm, The Foundry will host Open Mic Night, formerly known as Songwriter’s Night, for those wanting to share their talent and support others in creative expression. At 7pm, Russ Taff will host Praise the Lord at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville. Unity of Believers is organizing a group to attend this TBN event, if you are attending on their behalf, be sure to arrive on time and tell the usher that you are with their group.

On Wednesday, August 18th, at 5:15pm, City Road United Methodist Church in Madison will host the “High-Five Festival”. The event will include inflatables, a dunking booth, games, live music, and food.    

On Thursday, August 19th, at 7pm, Kathy Troccoli will be in concert at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, featuring music from her new release “HeartSongs”. This will be an evening of jazz pop standards for all music lovers.   

On Friday, August 20th, at 12 Noon, please join the Unity of Believers Radio Program on Solid Gospel 105.1 FM, for your lunch time entertainment. If you miss this broadcast at noon, you can catch it again at 11:30pm. Also on Friday, at 7pm, Steeple Players Theatre in Hendersonville will present their regional talent showcase for the first of two nights. At 7:30pm, The Foundry will host “Friday Night Fire”, a time of extravagant worship and intercession in the heart of downtown Nashville.   

On Saturday, August 21st, starting at 9am, children age 4 up to 6th grade can register for Upward Flag Football or Cheerleading at Our Savior Lutheran Church and Academy in Nashville. This league runs through November 6th. Also at 9am, “Hope 4 You”, a faith based weight loss program, will hold a clinic focused on “Hope, Health, and Happiness” at New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. At 7pm, Steeple Players Theatre in Hendersonville will present the final night of their talent showcase.  

On Tuesday, August 24th, at 7pm, Joyce Meyer will host “Praise the Lord” at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville. This is a free event and large groups are welcome.

At 5:30pm, the Nashville Sounds baseball team is hosting a Purity Faith Night at Greer Stadium, with a pre-game concert by Jaci Velasquez.  

On Wednesday, August 4th, at 5pm, The Awakening Youth Conference begins at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Whites Creek. This conference is being called the “You Can Make It Crusade” and lasts through Friday.

On Saturday, July 10th, from 9am to 5pm, the 2010 Rally for Jesus will be held in Murfreesboro at the Rutherford County Courthouse Public Square. This event features free admission, free food, great music and preaching. Tearing up the stage will be NOT ASHAMED, a home town favorite, as well as Erica Danielle, and possibly others. At 5:30pm, the Nashville Outlaws Baseball Team will host a Faith and Family Night featuring the Christian band “Grits” with a pre-game concert. At 7pm, the Real Life Tour will be held at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, featuring “Crawford Crossing” and “Southern Brothers” in concert.  

On Sunday, July 11th, at 10am, First Baptist Church in Hendersonville will begin Camp Kaboom, hosted at Cedarmore Retreat Center in Bagdad, Kentucky. At 4pm, LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center will hold their “Great Expectations” webcast, a FREE online Sunday school training class. Visit our event calendar to login. At 5pm, Galatic Blast Vacation Bible School begins at Smyrna United Methodist Church, lasting through Thursday, July 18th.  

On Monday, July 12th, at 9am, the High Seas Expedition Vacation Bible School begins at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. A week long event for children age 2 through the 6th grade. At 7pm, vacation Bible school begins at Gilroy Church of Christ, lasting through the 14th.  

On Wednesday, July 14th, at 6:30pm, there is a cancer support group that meets at People’s Church in Franklin. This group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, in room 164B, next to the bookstore.
