• WEBSITE UPDATE: Changing Seasons

We are changing seasons right now at NashvilleChristian.com. My wife Fawn and I have been the driving forces behind this website for the past couple of years. In this season of our relationship we are finding God rearranging our priorities, changing how we sow both our time and our money. Right now, this website is basically on auto-pilot waiting to see what God and our community want to do here. We are waiting to see who will step-up, who wants to take a more active role, and who will give their time freely to continue building this resource to help unify the local Body of Christ? To be honest, community participation has been disappointing; support by local congregations has been even more disappointing. I really have no need to strive to build something that our community doesn't want.

It seems to me that "unifying the Body of Christ" is the Christian cache-phrase of the decade, but really VERY FEW have a sincere hunger for it or are willing to step outside of their comfort zones in order to obtain it. As long as churches are kingdoms, there can be very little unity.

I will still continue to manage (Admin) the website to ensure that content is appropriate and assist members in any way they need. As for the foreseeable future though, Fawn will no longer invest hours each week into updating local events; the events that are listed on our community calendar will be the events that YOU LIST here! As for myself, I used to spend hours working on this website almost everyday, reaching out to community leaders and trying to build bridges. Now, I might devote about an hour per week to it. My concentration currently is on professional pursuits and trying to provide for my family in this season.

For those who have sown loyally into this website with their time and talent, I sincerely THANK YOU! Had it not been for you, I would have given up a long time ago!

This website is here for you Nashville! Do you want it? If so, it's time to get INVOLVED!

Thank you Jeff for starting this site and sharing your expertise. Thank you Fawn for working with Jeff to make this available and the calender of Christian events in the Nashville area. May the Lord bless you both richly for your labor of love for the sake of the Kingdom and giving a place for the voice of the church.

Prayer: Father, We ask revelation and understanding for Jeff and Fawn to know Your will for NashvilleChristian.com by Your Spirit. Encourage them we pray in the work You prepared for them to do in Your name Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

We here at WEA are grateful and thankful for all the work that both you and Fawn have done with this website. The word tells us of a prayer that Jesus prayed "they would be one even as You and I are ONE" so he desires for us to join together in unity... laying aside religious spirits, own agendas etc.. and do the work of God.. We pray for you both daily and we appreciate the work that you have done and are praying for God to give you direction and encouragement for both of you and for ALL CHRISTIANS to wake up and realize time is short.. we MUST be as he said .. ONE united..

There is a man and his wife in Nashville, whose life inspired a movie, www.unconditionalthemovie.com He is known by Chris Dupree and James Goll, two of the men prominent on your site. Below is an announcement for a choir that the Lord has set up. It's aim is to bring the unity you mentioned in your post. Do not lose heart. God WILL fulfill his Word.

Dynamic Multiracial Youth Choir accepting new members!

Do you know a child or teen that loves to SING? Papa Joe and Denise Bradford are currently expanding the UNITY Choir, a fun area-wide multiracial choir that seeks to raise awareness of the needs of the poor in the Nashville area.
