We are changing seasons right now at NashvilleChristian.com. My wife Fawn and I have been the driving forces behind this website for the past couple of years. In this season of our relationship we are finding God rearranging our priorities, changing how we sow both our time and our money. Right now, this website is basically on auto-pilot waiting to see what God and our community want to do here. We are waiting to see who will step-up, who wants to take a more active role, and who will give their time freely to continue building this resource to help unify the local Body of Christ? To be honest, community participation has been disappointing; support by local congregations has been even more disappointing. I really have no need to strive to build something that our community doesn't want.

It seems to me that "unifying the Body of Christ" is the Christian cache-phrase of the decade, but really VERY FEW have a sincere hunger for it or are willing to step outside of their comfort zones in order to obtain it. As long as churches are kingdoms, there can be very little unity.

I will still continue to manage (Admin) the website to ensure that content is appropriate and assist members in any way they need. ...

Future Quake radio show & podcast recorded a half-hour segment on NashvilleChristian.com recently; with Dr. Future, Tom Bionic, and Jeff Fenton. This show features some of Jeff's personal testimony, as well as the inspiration, the vision, and the purpose of this website. Hear about new developments at NashvilleChristian.com, as well as the direction we really feel the Lord is leading us.

This show will air on WENO, AM 760, at 4PM on Thursday, September 30th. Shortly thereafter, we'll make the audio file available online for anyone who misses the broadcast.

We are happy to announce that we are upgrading the software on our server!

This latest version of our software (v4.0.7) includes MANY enhancements that we believe everyone will enjoy, as well as corrects several bugs in the current version. Most notably, this new version will include a FULL FACEBOOK INTEGRATION, which will allow people to link their NashvilleChristian.com accounts with their Facebook accounts, using their Facebook login, and sharing posts on this site through Facebook. It will probably take another day to activate the Facebook features once this upgrade is complete.

We will provide more information on how to take advantage of these new features, once our upgrade is completed.

GROUPS are a great place to promote or share a Christian organization, cause, or common interest with the Nashville community. This is a highly underutilized facet of our site currently, which I expect to grow ten-fold in the year to come. You can administer your OWN group and manage it however you like. Groups can be private (invitation only) or they can be public. It is all up to whomever creates the group, and like everything on this site, it is FREE!

We have FIVE new podcast shows set up in public groups, with regularly updated content, for your listening pleasure. To help facilitate this, we have added an inline mp3 player, and can now stream audio from off-site resources. Here are the five new groups: Full Circle Jesus Music, Kingdom Empowerment, Verse by Verse Bible Teaching, Unity of Believers, and Fringe Christian Talk Shows. Check them out! I think you will be blessed!
