Whatever you turn to for comfort when you are in pain, that is your Savior!

Whether that is television, food, alcohol, drugs, pornography, shopping, working-out, or Jesus.

We may say with our lips that Jesus is our Savior, but what evidence does our lifestyle offer?

I think that pain is a good compass to see where our loyalties truly lie.

When we hurt, we turn to the one who we know can help, even if only temporarily.

I told my puppy yesterday, "You can have all the privileges that you can HANDLE." I wonder if God is saying the same thing to ME.

In truth, I would love to let my puppy have the run of the whole house, to come, go, and do as she pleases. In reality though, she can't be trusted to make the right choices. "Right" being defined as not harmful to herself or to her family.

Her family consists of three bunny brothers, a birdie brother, a mommy and a daddy. ...

I believe that the biggest roadblock to UNITY in the Church today is simply PRIDE. Pride says that I'm RIGHT and your WRONG. That belief alone is the END of a relationship.

Hand-in-hand with that, I believe, is JUDGMENT. Judge not lest you be judged! God is very clear on this, yet it's one of the greatest sins of the Church. How many times per day do we curse ourselves by holding our beliefs, our lifestyle, or our devotion in higher esteem than our neighbors?

I don't want your relationship with God, I want my own!

God wants the RELATIONSHIP not the ritual!

Many years ago, I learned that God has given me the power to move people with my words. What I consider the “higher calling” in that though, is to use my words to move people toward Him.

I am convinced that our living free from SIN, is not nearly as important to Christ as our living dependant upon HIM.
