Christian Challenge

Christianity is a great challenge. God has done so much for us in saving, redeeming, delivering, and justifying us and making us His children. Now he calls us to live the Gospel, to be a light, to be holy, to follow and obey Jesus. Wow! Now we are challenged to overcome sin and the devil in our personal life and to let Christ in us, the hope of glory, actively flow through us and our day to day lifestyle. "As many are led by the Spirit, these are the sons of God." This blog is an attempt to communicate the challenge of Christianity to God's people.

  4. How To Study More Effectively, flash of wisdom,

In the Western world we study to effect our intellect more than our heart. Our minds swell while our hearts are shrink-wrapped in an endless roll of facts and figures. Is there a better way to study? Yes.

Paul of Tarsus wrote: “Study to show yourself approved unto God.” This is not academic or intellectual study. It is not study to learn a curriculum but to put together pieces of insight in a way that releases inner rivers of spiritual life. It is not striving to fill ...

The golf world considers Bubba to be unconventional because he has never had a golf lesson and because he is an outspoken follower of Jesus Christ. To quote ...
  6. Are There Options For Church? Or Is There Only One Way Of Doing Church?

    Should church consist of:
A pre-arranged program or a pervading Holy Presence?
    A man-made message or God-breathed spiritual life?
Passively watching a pastor or priest perform or people passionately pursuing God’s Presence and Person?
    Religious head-knowledge or radical heart-transformation?
Being conformed to a corrupt culture or being conformed to Christ?
Hearing human explanations of the idea of God or having a personal encounter with God, Himself? ...
  7. You're Not "Hey You" To God -- He Calls You By Your Name

Four different people, in chapters 9 & 10 of the Book of Acts, hear God call them by name. It starts with an angry man who hates Christians and even has them killed. He is on his way to Damascus, Syria to persecute the believers there when suddenly he hears his name: “Saul, Saul why so you persecute Me?” Saul asks the voice, “Who are you, Lord?” and gets this reply. “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.” Saul is transformed from persecuter to proclaimer of Jesus.
